Tempest and Tails â Refund & Returns Policy
We want you (and your pet) to love your new gear. If something isnât right, weâll work to make it right.
Returns
You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received itâunworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Youâll also need your order number or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us at support@tempestandtails.com. Once your request is approved, weâll provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Return Shipping
- Defective, damaged, or incorrect item: Weâll cover the cost of return shipping or send you a replacement at no charge.
- Customer-choice returns (wrong size, color change, or change of mind): Youâll be responsible for return shipping costs.

Do not send returns to the address on your shipping labelâthis is our print providerâs facility and they cannot accept customer returns.
Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong product. Weâll evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
- Perishable goods (like food, flowers, or plants)
- Custom or personalized products
- Personal care items (such as beauty products)
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
We also do not accept returns on clearance items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a new purchase for the correct item.
Refunds
Weâll notify you once weâve received and inspected your return. If approved, youâll be refunded to your original payment method within 3â10 business days (timing depends on your bank).
If you prefer, we can issue store credit in the form of a digital gift card instead of a refund.

EU Customers â 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. The item must be returned in the same condition as received.
