Tempest and Tails – Refund & Returns Policy

We want you (and your pet) to love your new gear. If something isn’t right, we’ll work to make it right.

Returns

You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received it—unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need your order number or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at support@tempestandtails.com. Once your request is approved, we’ll provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return Shipping

  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect item: We’ll cover the cost of return shipping or send you a replacement at no charge.
  • Customer-choice returns (wrong size, color change, or change of mind): You’ll be responsible for return shipping costs.

Do not send returns to the address on your shipping label—this is our print provider’s facility and they cannot accept customer returns.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong product. We’ll evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

  • Perishable goods (like food, flowers, or plants)
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Personal care items (such as beauty products)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

We also do not accept returns on clearance items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a new purchase for the correct item.

Refunds

We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method within 3–10 business days (timing depends on your bank).

If you prefer, we can issue store credit in the form of a digital gift card instead of a refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at support@tempestandtails.com.

EU Customers – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. The item must be returned in the same condition as received.
